Young NTUC, is the youth wing of the National Trades Union Congress (NTUC). Since its founding in April 2005, Young NTUC has grown to over 180,000 working adults aged 35 years and below. As youths, Young NTUC recognises the importance to care for our environment. Everyone is responsible for the clean air we all enjoy and we can all make a difference through our consumption choices. Young NTUC supports the cause of PM.Haze and encourages our youths to do what we can to leave our future generation with the same or an even cleaner garden city than we had.
Young NTUC has supported PM.Haze since we were founded, providing us with valuable venue sponsorship for our meetings and talks. As PM.Haze’s Youth Activist Partner, Young NTUC continues to support PM.Haze with seed funding and resources.
The Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA) is a non-profit, non-government organisation dedicated to the research, analysis and discussion of regional and international issues, and the environment. Founded in 1961 and registered as a member-based society, the SIIA is Singapore’s oldest think tank, and was ranked the top think tank in Asia and the Pacific in 2013 by the University of Pennsylvania’s Global Go-To Think Tank Index.
SIIA developed the Haze Tracker website to give concerned citizens an easy access to pertinent information about the haze.
SIIA and PM.Haze are collaborating to educate the general public about the causes, impacts and solutions of the haze through our interactive “Haze: Know it. Stop it.” exhibition.
